People with a personality disorder generally do not realize that they have one. From their perspective, they feel as if other people are wronging them, rather than them affecting others. Four Areas of Treating Personality Disorders:
1. Mindfulness: Focusing on and fully engaging the present.
2. Stress Columns: Stress Columns: Finding ways of managing situations with high emotions.
3. Emotional Regulation: Emotional Regulation: Developing everyday habits that not only help you tolerate stress but keep you from getting to the crisis point in the first place.
4. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Interpersonal Effectiveness: Learning to be more effective in relationships. Knowing which relationships are not suitable to have in your life and keeping the ones you want.
